Roxanne’s story begins on a farm in Dundas, Minnesota—a small town where hard work, strong values, and a deep sense of community shape a person early. Growing up just south of Northfield, she developed not only a love for the land, but a lifelong curiosity about people, stories, and culture. That curiosity blossomed during her time spent around St. Olaf and Carleton College, where she fell in love with literature and the cultural arts—passions that continue to define her today.

Roxanne has always been someone who brings people together. In Montevideo, she channels her creativity and heart into a shared children’s ministry program between Salem Lutheran and the United Methodist Church. There, she creates spaces where young people feel seen, inspired, and connected—just as she once did. Her life is rooted in relationships: as a daughter, a mother, and a grandmother, she treasures every moment spent with family, carrying those connections into everything she does.

In 2018, Roxanne put down even deeper roots by purchasing her home in Montevideo. She quickly fell in love with the closeness of the community—a place where neighbors become friends and life feels just a little more meaningful. Whether she’s camping under the stars, hiking scenic trails, or floating down the river, Roxanne embraces life with a sense of adventure and warmth that has earned her the affectionate nickname “camp grandma.”

Her creative spirit shows up in many ways—through reading, writing, gardening, and artistic expression—but at the heart of it all is her desire to help others. That calling led her to real estate.
